NOFMA, The Wood Flooring Manufacturers Association, sets the standards for the industry and counts most major producers, including Maxwell Hardwood Flooring, among it's members. Availability: All Bradley Additions flooring is available in standard 3.25", 4", & 5" widths and specialty widths up to 9" Red Oak and White Oak are available in standard NOFMA grades: Quartered, Select & Btr, No. 1 Common, and No. 2 Common. All other species will be available in 2 grades: Classic and Colonial Classic Grades: The Classic grade has a more uniform and consistent appearance. The Classic floor may contain a few small knots, limited checking, minor mineral streaks, and similar characteristics. The grade contains no prominent defects. Colonial Grades: The Colonial grade will contain knots, checking , color variations, mineral streaks and other naturally occurring characteristics.
